i own a 2012 1.4 fiesta and i cant really confirm that...from the very beginning till now (20k KM) everything was fine...
the clutch start gripping somewhere in the first quarter and is completely in once u release half...
the gas pedal is pretty much a setup thing i guess...i dont like it either, since for once at certain RPM i have more accleration with less throttle...which is, well wierd.
must ask the dealer at some point what he can change about that
Im fine with everything (kind of) except for the CPU which really is a bottleneck.
So obviously i do have the common problem, lack of money.
I do have a new planned PC, i just cant get it yet, need quite some more time.
Meanwhile i wanna go and replace this POS CPU () with something quicker.
I looked around and im not too sure...the Dual Core CPU's are ok-ish too as it looks.
Since i dont want to spend hundreds of Euros, getting a CPU for an out of date socket.
Are the Dual Cores an Option?
Or should i not bother with them...if so, what Quad can you suggest?
Only CPU's under 100€ please
Also thought about OC'ing with a proper Cooler and Fan i guess even on this thing 3 GHZ should work well...
But first i wanted to check out my other Options before i accidently send this thing to Hell
If you made it this far down, leave a Reply and let me know what you think.
2.) The steering is funky. No matter what I do, it will not align. It also won't register as 900* rotation. Both in game and on my wheel I have the sensitivity set to 900, but the in game wheel spins as if it's at 600* or so.
Any help?
there are no cars in LFS with 900 deg steering.
most have 720.
so set it to that (on any road car) and it should align fine.
Not if you play it in hardcore mode and with good people in multiplayer (people who complete objectives and help each other when someone is stuck). There's always epic moments, real good fun, nice teamwork. I think i've clocked well over 100 hours and am still enjoying it. You're doing it wrong...
id guess even the poorest ppl would be able to save up 24 pound in 3 years time...thats 2 cents a day
either way, more cars are avaible in full version, as well as more tracks.
there are mods who do have a drift point calculator, and you can customize the performance via the intake restriction...yes not higher but lower.
not a tuning game, but a race sim.
use this CFG.
See if that works for you.
Unzip first.
BTW, i set MRT as a car now, since i didnt know which one u meant with mt5/6.
to change that, simply open up the setup.cfg and edit the line /CARS=XXX where the XXX represents the car.
put a + (XXX+XXX) if you want to allow multiple cars.
non of lfs cars use 900° so why use incorect setting..
make lfs profile, specific game setting. and change rotation as you chanange car.
basic rule: when you turn your g25/27. or what ever full turn wheel you have,
wheel in your hands(g25/g27....) MUST turn identical as is does in lfs.
if it doesent you have bad settings.
u can set wheel rotation in lfs as well...thats what i always use.
btw, i just noticed that it doesnt make a difference...
that sucks
